Job Introduction
Are you a caring and motivated Administrator based in the B&NES area? We are looking for Bank Administrators/ Receptionists to join our community hospitals team. You’ll join a team who are focused on delivering impeccable administration duties to our staff and service users to really make our service users and staff feel the difference.

The core hours for this role are between 8am and 6pm so any bank shifts booked would be between these hours.

Main Responsibilities
Your days will be busy and varied and include providing a full confidential administration / reception service to the ward, using your own initiative and occasionally without direct supervision. You will contribute to a team environment, remain calm under pressure and be sympathetic with patients, relatives, Consultants and other healthcare staff to help ensure a proficient service for both patients and clinicians.

The essential qualities we are looking for in our applicants are:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with a range of people on a day to day basis.
- Administrative experience in a busy, customer facing environment.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
