Warranty Advisor

Overview:
**Lookers, Volkswagen Teesside**

**Contract Type: Permanent**

**Salary: £28,000 per annum**

**Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (40 hours per week)**

Chris Watson (Service Manager) is on the hunt for a Warranty Advisor to come and join his fantastic team over at our Volkswagen Teesside Dealership. You will be based within our fantastic Service hub which includes an additional Warranty Advisor, Service Administrators and Service Advisors. You will be part of a fantastic team of seven which will be there to support and guide you through your new role. Whilst based out of our Teesside Dealership you will also support the car and van sites across Teesside, Darlington and Northallerton.

This isn’t your average Warranty Advisor vacancy; you will report into Chris Watson who has worked at Lookers for over 20 years Chris will impart their knowledge and experience allowing you to develop your skills and establish a long career within the Automotive industry. Don’t forget you will also have a supportive team around you to help you along the way

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing warranty claims to manufacturer standards
- Assessing the quality of warranty job cards which includes feeding back to the workshop
- Invoicing and other ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Supporting with Paint and body claims
- Interacting daily with customers over the phone

Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual with a Technical background, preferably within the Automotive industry. Are you current a Service Advisor or Warranty Advisor looking to shake up their career with Lookers?

You will possess attention to detail and strong organisation skills; this is essential when prioritising and scheduling work appropriately. You will also be great at talking to customers and showcase a friendly but professional manner. Furthermore, you will be able to build strong and lasting relationships with your fellow colleagues.

It is also essential that you have strong IT skills; are you able to easily navigate around the Microsoft packages?
