**About us**

Herdman Chemists is a group of two pharmacies in Sunderland. We are professional, agile and are keen to keep building our business and delivery operation.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting medication to various locations and be capable of multiple drops in a shift. Please note that there are a number of deliveries to complete in a single day.This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a van.

**Duties**:

- Safely transport medication to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
