**Android Developer - £35,000 - £40,000**

My client is a small business with around 15 employees who are looking to add to their team. They have created their own platform which provides a package of mobile apps, websites, and eCommerce solutions.

They offer hybrid working and expect a minimum of 2 days per week in the office although they are going to keep up with and follow government guidelines as they develop.

**Some of the skills required for this role**:

- Experience in building scalable Android Phone apps from scratch and building on top of existing Java codebases.
- Knowledge of offline storage and performance tuning
- API integration experience.
- Passionate about Android Phone Development and creating user-friendly apps.
- Agile / Scrum experience
- An eye for design and passion about building apps that perform fast, don't crash/error and look great.
- Experience handling software updates, patches, and bug fixes.
- Experience in Geo-location, APIs, and third-party libraries for Android.
- Solid knowledge of programming tools such as Android Studio, Git, etc.
- Knowledge of Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience working in a project delivery team.
- Good at coming up with innovative solutions and problem-solving.
