**The role**
Nigel Wright are currently recruiting an Engineering Supervisor/Area Manager for a leading food manufacturing business. Working as part of a strong team, you'll co-lead and input into the direction of the site particularly around Engineering and be heavilyinvolved in driving efficiency throughout the site.
Your key areas of responsibility will be:

- People, Planning, Delivery and Compliance
- All day-to-day and medium-term direction of the Engineering department and team
- Shared control (with the other AEM) of the Engineering R&M and CapEx budgets

The business has a strong focus on continuous improvement, and as Engineering Area Manager, you may be required to take ownership for their Progressive and Initiative Management, and will therefore need experience of lean methodologies.
Key requirements include:

- Experience working in food manufacturing
- Lean experience and/or qualification
- Analytical and welcomes challenge
- Supportive and able to get the best from, and develop people
- Able to demonstrate great communication and interaction skills both within engineering and cross functionally
