We are looking for a Project Support Coordinator to join our Carbon Neutral Cornwall Programme.

The transition to a low carbon and resilient Cornwall in order to deliver on the target for Cornwall to become Carbon Neutral by 2030 will require significant changes for all residents in Cornwall, from how energy is used in the home, our transport choices and how food is bought and Cornwall Council must show leadership ensuring that we are doing all we can to exemplify the change required to deliver this ambitious plan.

The Project Support Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating all the activities of the Carbon Neutral Cornwall Programme. This role will be expected to provide a high level of project support in relation how we can significantly reduce our carbon emissions through energy efficiency, low carbon fuels and investment in renewable energy within a timescale which is consistent with an ambition to restrain Global Warming to 1.5°C and to ensure Cornwall strives to become carbon neutral by 2030.

This role will support the work of the Carbon Neutral Cornwall core team to co-ordinate the delivery of the Climate Change Plan.
