A full time role based in Watford

Job Description- JOB TITLE: Maintenance Controller- SALARY: £35,340- LOCATION(S): Watford- HOURS: Full-time- WORKING PATTERN: For the first 6 months you will be in office for 5 days a week and then move to hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week at the Watford office site.

As a Maintenance Controller you’ll be responsible for the co-ordination of vehicle repairers and our suppliers to ensure a cost effective process and to ensure a great customer experience.

What you’ll need- Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles (Cars & LCV’s) both combustion engine & electric vehicles.- Experience of working in a manufacturer’s franchised dealership in both workshop & service desk environments.- Strong customer service orientation & telephone negotiation / persuasion skills.- Excellent communication skills with a confident and polite telephone manner- Experience of working in a cost approval & audit function either in a lease co. or other similar organisation.

And any experience of these would be really useful- The first point of resolution for vehicle related topics e.g. Breakdown, SMR, Tyre replacement, downtime management.- Ensuring calls are answered within required timescales, complete worksheets, monitor downtime cases, Tyre approvals and any other team activity is dealt with efficiently.- Manage, approve and audit all SMR (service, maintenance & repair) and Tyre requests ensuring adherence to the Tusker Maintenance Policy.- Ensure all transactions are approved at the lowest possible cost price to Tusker.
