We’re looking for a Nursery Practitioner either level 2 or level 3 qualified to join our friendly, fun team here at Little Treasures. We are an independent nursery with huge ambitions and we’re looking for someone who is going to join us in our aim to become Ofsted Outstanding, and be the best nursery around.

**About the Role**

As a Nursery Practitioner, on a day to day basis you will work as a member of the nursery team to ensure that all children in our care receive high quality care and support, are kept safe, and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual learning needs.

**It will be your responsibility to**:

- Observe, support and extend children’s learning
- Plan appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance
- Maintain accurate and effective children’s records
- Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion
- Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and that Food Safety Regulations are complied with
- Learn about current developments in childcare and education policy and practice
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members, establishing effective relationships

**Who Should Apply?**

We need team players with caring and friendly personalities, who are reliable and responsible and able to adapt easy to any given situation. Your ability to build close relationships with children and their families will be second to none, alongside your time management and organisational skills. You should be a positive, enthusiastic individual with an exceptional personable manner.

You should also have (or be willing to work towards):

- Relevant Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification
- Experience of working in a childcare setting
- Sound knowledge of child development for children aged birth to 5 years
- An understanding of play based approach to children’s learning and development
- A commitment to equal opportunities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
