Baby Room Leader

**Job Role**:Babies Room leader
**Role type**: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
**Location**:10 minutes away from St. James Street station, Walthamstow Central Station and Walthamstow Queen's Road.
**Salary**:£23,500 - £26,000

**Responsibilities**

As a room leader, you are responsible for:

- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and staff in your care.
- Working closely with managers and other nursery staff to create a positive environment in the nursery and to build close ties and relationships with parents and carers
- Providing a safe, secure, caring and stimulating environment, within the framework of the EYFS
- Making sure that you meet the developmental needs of each individual child.
- Coordinate all of your room’s activity so that all duties are completed while maintaining an optimum level of care for the children at all times
- Show great knowledge of safeguarding and company policies (training provided)
- Motivate and lead by example in your room and nursery-wide in creating an environment that is caring and supportive both for children and staff

**About you**
- You are Level 3 qualified in Childcare or higher
- You have experience working in childcare
- You are proactive in taking the initiative and you genuinely care about being part of a healthy work environment
- You are looking to grow and lead a team into fulfilling all their responsibilities

To excel as a Room Leader, you'll need excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. You must also be a positive role model, supportive, calm and well-organised.
