**Role**: Procurement Buyer
**Office Location**: North Lincolnshire
**Hybrid Working**: 2-3 days pw in office, 2-3 days WFH
**Salary**: £36-45k + 10% bonus
Excellent opportunity to join a **rapidly expanding global company** that focuses strongly on sustainable working practices, a great culture and internal coaching and training. They operate across Europe and the US and have recently grown through a significant acquisition. The procurement teams are also significantly expanding, creating **significant progression opportunities** over the coming years both locally, or further afield in London or overseas if desired.
Fantastic role that spans procurement and operational purchasing (P2P) across categories such as **general indirect industrial goods and services, raw materials (directs) and logistics**. You'll undertake the operational (transactional) purchasing activities (tendering, invoice query resolution, PO creation, master data - in conjunction with the process teams and systems) and follow-up on purchases with sites and suppliers to manage quality, time and cost issues.
**Key competencies**:
- Procurement/purchasing experience, ideally with some experience in industrial indirect goods and services, raw materials, directs, CAPEX, logistics etc
- Transactional purchasing, finance and accounts payable (AP) experience an advantage
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills - internal customer focussed
- Experience of presenting, ideally to senior stakeholders
- Experience of using data to forecast budgets
