Midlands

Finatal are working with a midlands based manufacturing/ distribution business looking at a potential exit and need an interim to join the business and take ownership of the day to day and support the CFO over the coming months. The business is growing rapidly,with high level contracts secured with some well-known brands. Resultantly, it is imperative there is enough financial resource and nous to ensure the business are fit to support the continued growth. As a lean finance function, you’ll need to take a handson approach, taking ownership of the year end process, ensuring monthly reporting is timely and accurate and appropriate KPI’s are in place to track labour costs.

The Role:

- Full ownership of the day to day finance responsibilities and all technical accounting
- Liaising with the CFO & business heads; providing files/ information required to support sale preparation
- Liaising with different sites, recognising labour costs and associated manufacturing accounting requirements
- Oversight of a small team

You:

- Finance qualified; ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Technically sound: able to tackle the year end process, audit and reporting
- Manufacturing and Private Equity exposure is a must to hit the ground running
- Exposure to a sale process is not required
