Human Resources Officer

The main purpose of the Human Resources Officer will be to support the HR Advisor and HR Manager with the day-to-day running of all HR activities. They will be the first point of contact for a majority of HR queries within the workplace, escalating serious or urgent matters to the HR Advisor or HR Manager. This is a generalist and varied role which will be well suited to a person looking to gain more experience in the HR function. They will demonstrate a general understanding of employment law and our company policies, combining both to identify and report where there are shortfalls. They will play a leading role in recruitment, onboarding and administrative duties, with opportunities to gain exposure in other areas of HR.
**Key Duties**:
- Main contact for recruitment activity, liaising with agencies and advertising through our website, social media and recruitment websites.
- Main contact for employee queries and company information to provide knowledge, advise, support and escalate where necessary.
- Keeping track of recruitment spreadsheet and statistics.
- Lead the onboarding process for new starters and organising inductions.
- Support and administer all aspects of HR related documentation.
- Update and process HR data and monthly reports for select internal and external parties.
- Support ways to improve the company culture and employee experience.
**Essential**:
- Qualified or working towards a CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification.
- Demonstrate an approachable, enthusiastic and confident attitude towards employees.
- Be self-motivated and people-focused and able to communicate clearly with everyone.
- Show integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Have the ability to learn and develop HR knowledge and company policies.
- Experience of working within a HR team and working autonomously.
- Ability to organise your workload in a fast-paced, progressive environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

**Contracted to 40 hours per week**:
