To support the team to work with individuals who uses mental health services to facilitate a range of mechanisms for them to share their views, experiences, and recommendations to contribute towards the planning, design, delivery, improvement, monitoring and evaluation of mental health and substance misuse services. The postholder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Caniad service. Administering tasks to staff and arranging team meetings, as well as to motivate staff and support them in their daily tasks. To monitor, review and evaluate service user and carer input in the planning, design, delivery, improvement, monitoring and evaluation of mental health services, using quantitative and qualitative methods, e.g., focus groups, surveys etc.

To assist Caniad Involvers (clients) to be part of recruitment processes for mental health service providers through Value Based Interviews. To develop and give presentations to key stakeholders and Caniad Involvers (clients). To develop and deliver training as appropriate and relevant to the service, e.g., Value Based Interview training. To maintain up to date records, statistics and proforma through a bespoke database, as required to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the service, to then contribute this information to overall service reports as required e.g., annual reports and contract reviews.

To be responsible for areas of Health & Safety amongst the team within their remit, e.g., lone working. To attend meetings as directed including informal meetings within Caniad e.g., team meetings, focus groups and formal meetings with partner agencies and commissioners e.g., health board etc. To have commitment to and demonstrate an undertaking of equality and diversity of opportunity and its relevance to different sectors within the community. Must demonstrate empathy towards Adferiads beneficiaries.
