Job Title - Highway Design Engineer
Location - Birmingham
Salary - £33,000 - £38,000

I am currently recruiting for a Birmingham based position with an international consultancy, currently working on a number of Major Highway projects for Public Realm and Private clients. This position is for a Design Engineer with significant Civil 3D experiencethat would like to join an established team that has the avenues for you to develop your career, achieve Chartership with the ICE and work on local schemes such as Holborn Enabling Works.

As this office works collaboratively with others across the UK, you will also be working closely with these, offering you the chance to work on key Public Realm schemes such as the £25.9 million pound A629 which involves a wealth of Active Travel schemes,junction improvements and road alignments.

Although this consultancy is looking for an engineer with around 5 years' experience, if you have used Civil 3D on schemes like the above, or National Highways DIP framework projects then they still want to hear from you.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Civil Engineering, or equivalent;
- Working towards, with a clear development plan, or have achieved, professional membership e.g. Institution of Civil Engineers;
- Experience of working with AutoDesk, AutoCad, Civil 3D.
- Experience with identifying and resolving multi-disciplinary interfaces
- Experience of UK highway design codes and practices would be advantageous;
