**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Administrator to manage stock, coordinate goods in and out, and support the smooth running of our warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our supply chain operates efficiently and that our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Stock Management**: Monitor stock levels, ensure accurate stock records, and coordinate regular stock takes.
- **Goods In/Out Coordination**:
- Oversee incoming deliveries, inspect goods for quality and accuracy, and manage storage.
- Coordinate dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- **Supplier Management**: Handle stock ordering from suppliers in Italy, ensuring timely and accurate orders.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Book and manage international transport of stock from Italy to our UK warehouse.
- **Systems & Documentation**: Maintain accurate records using inventory management software and prepare relevant documentation for shipments and deliveries.
- **Communication**: Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve any stock or delivery issues.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
- **Administrative Support**: Assist with reporting, invoicing, and general administrative tasks related to operations.
**Key Skills & Experience**:
- Previous experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse administration.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
- **Italian language skills** (beneficial but not essential).
- Knowledge of food wholesale or retail would be an advantage.
