Our finance officers play a crucial role in supporting the Council, helping us deliver a better service to the people of East Sussex. It’s fast-paced and varied, but we’ll ensure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.

This role will mainly be based in St Mary’s House, Eastbourne. However, there is an opportunity to work from County Hall, Lewes. It is a 37-hour-per-week position based on a fixed-term contract (up to twelve months).

Interviews will be held within 2 weeks of the closing date and will be in the form of a face-to-face interview, followed by a timed task. Please consider allowing 2-2.5 hours for the interview. These will be held in St Mary’s House, Eastbourne.

Your main office will be St Mary’s House, which is within walking distance of the town and the train station. St Mary’s House is within easy reach of main bus routes and Eastbourne train station.
