The postholder is required to meet deadlines and respond to urgent requests on a regular basis The ability to concentrate for long periods of time, often in distracting conditions and with frequent interruptions, is essential.
This is a sedentary role and therefore the postholder will need to be able to sit for long periods of time, whilst using a keyboard. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to deal with correspondence of a sensitive and sometimes distressing nature. Communication via several different methods with patients, carers, family members raising concerns. This role will require occasional contact with distressed patients, relatives or staff during meetings.
