Warehouse Team Member

**Job Introduction**:
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious **Warehouse Team Member** to join our Liquid Supply team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently processing and moving spirit throughout its maturation cycle, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and scheduled requirements.
**Main Responsibility**:
- Stowing and removing full and empty casks in accordance with compliance requirements for warehouse operations.
- Carry out all Bar code transactions in line with procedures, delivering the highest levels of inventory accuracy
- To carry out cask handling and related spirit supply activities as required in compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Customs & Excise Legislation.
- To conduct quality checks on casks and spirit, reporting as necessary in line with procedures.
- Manage the processes for cask tallying, checking, labelling, emptying, filling, palletising and racking
- Maintain stock records, space validity records, carry out stock checks and sampling requirements and relevant documentation in accordance to HMR&C requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping within required site standards appropriately to team meetings and supports the implementation of team strategy, plans and continuous improvement projects.

- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment, ideally within the spirits or beverage industry.
- Strong focus on accuracy, particularly in inventory management and compliance-related activities.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Comfortable using barcode systems and other digital tools for inventory management.
- Capable of identifying and reporting quality or operational issues promptly.
- Collaborative, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to contribute to team goals.
