Salary £24,054-£27,852 Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Residential Services | Lancaster **Team: Bowerham Road Children's Home (FARCY)** **Location: Bowerham Road, Lancaster** **Basic Salary**:£24,054 to £27,852 **Grade 6 (uplift for alternating shift, weekend and sleep allowance additional **£3,000 **+ dependant on agreed rota) 37 hours **We are recruiting for ** A Residential Childcare Worker to join an established team in a modern 6 bedded home in Lancaster. We are a team of people who are **passionate about working with young people **and are looking for a new team member to join us. **What we are looking for ** **Passion **- you'll be passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families; taking a holistic approach both to their mental health support and how it relates to the other challenges that they may be facing. While you are focussing on ensuring the young people are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, you will be supported by us to achieve yours through on going professional development, coaching and quality supervisions. **Practical **- you'll be a pragmatic thinking with the ability to build trusting relationships with young people, supporting them to develop skills to navigate through life, as well encouraging them to pursue positive interests they have such as going to sports events, weekends away in Edinburgh or even going to a metal concert Working with your colleagues on rota, you will be supported by an experienced and nurturing management to enable us to achieve our goal of supporting young people and families. **Collaborative - **you'll be working alongside our skilled professionals as well as working with the young people who require our support. You will need to build a trusted relationship with families to ensure the family can rebuild their relationships supported by their care plan.
