Our Children’s Residential Service is expanding with the introduction of four new children’s homes and an Adolescent Support Unit over the next two years. We have exciting opportunities across Lancashire – Heysham, Lancaster, Preston, Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Accrington, Clitheroe, Burnley, Great Harwood, and Skelmersdale. About the Role As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will work from a children's home where children and young people aged 11-17 live. You will eat and sleep at the home, undertake basic household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, and provide 1:1 support addressing feelings, emotions and behaviours. You will liaise with other professionals – social workers, schools, police, and health workers – to ensure children’s needs are met.
