As an experienced Digital Marketing Executive, you will work in an all-encompassing digital marketing role, with a specific focus on Search Engine Optimisation. You will work within a very close-knit team of talented and highly motivated people. The SEO Content Executive will play a vital role in driving the business forward by increasing website traffic, ranking and authority within a very competitive sector.

We are looking for an SEO Content Executive with proven work experience as a content executive or similar role. Reporting to the marketing manager the SEO Content Executive will develop and implement the strategy.

SEO Content Executive main duties include:

- As the SEO Content Executive, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for on-site and off-site purposes that is optimized from both a user and SEO perspective
- Working to ensuring best practice and business requirements are met regarding content production
- Delivering content marketing calendars within the schedule, and support content needs across other channels
- Uploading content onto our CMS on a regular basis
- Creating relevant, informative, and compelling content through topic research
- Reacting to ongoing content requirements learning, creating, updating, optimising as necessary
- Reporting on weekly and monthly performance
- Conducting keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Administration and organisation of workload

SEO Content Executive experience/Skills: - To be considered for the SEO and Content Executive role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience of Content Marketing and Creation (minimum 2 years)
- Experience of creating high-quality content for both on-site and off-site (outreach and PR) purposes
- Thorough understanding of Content Marketing and how it aligns with the wider digital marketing landscape
- Solid background in SEO content optimisation techniques (i.e. keyword optimisation, formatting and structure, internal linking)
- Experience with SEMrush, Big Commerce, CMS with regards to uploading and optimizing content
- Experienced in SEO algorithms and ranking factors
- Good organizational skills, communication & time management skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure and to also consistently deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- At least 2 years’ experience of Search Engine Optimisation
- Confident using SEO tools such as Moza and SEM Rush
- Confident and experienced with Google Analytics / Search Console
- Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Data analysis skills
- An excellent writing style which is accurate and engaging
- Passionate about digital marketing, with a desire to keep on top of new techniques and share best practices

An understanding of the following would also be preferred:

- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience Magento 1 or 2 or a similar CMS

THE SALARY

You will receive a basic annual salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 for this position, depending on your experience (this may be negotiable)

THE CONTRACT

This is full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday.
