**About the Role**

We’ve got an exciting **new** opportunity for a people focused L&D professional to come with us on this journey You’ll be joining a growing People Team who are passionate about every step of the employee lifecycle. (They really are)

Reporting to and working closely with our L&D Business Partner, you’ll have an integral role in the design, delivery and evaluation of new learning solutions that support our L&D roadmap.

**What will you be doing?**
- Design, deliver and evaluate learning solutions that support soft skills development including presentation skills, effective communication, self-awareness, stakeholder management and managing feedback
- Facilitating psychometric profiles as part of individual and team development activities
- Develop and maintain our internal L&D site to drive engagement and interest
- Manage our online learning portal including supplier relationships, content curation and internal comms and awareness
- Provide new joiners with the support and guidance needed to build their initial PDP and understanding of what they can expect from the L&D function throughout their journey at Thatcham
- Identify learning needs using both PDP outputs and discussions with Managers to understand individual, team and company-wide needs, working closely with the L&D Business Partner to design successful solutions in response
- Support the delivery of learning initiatives such as Learning at Work Week and the Thatcham Learning Bites portfolio

**Key skills & experience we’re looking for**:

- Some experience of the key elements of L&D is essential e.g. training design, delivery & facilitation
- Working collaboratively, cross-functionally and across all levels of hierarchy would be beneficial
- Knowledge of evaluation, understanding and/or experience of coaching
- Experience supporting employees with personal development plans
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- A proactive approach mindset and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including facilitation & presentation skills
- A qualification in psychometric assessment would be beneficial

**About You**

To be successful in this role, we think you’ll have previous experience designing and delivering training content in person, working cross-functionally and adapting your delivery style to suit the audience. You’ll be a natural, confident presenter with the ability to keep your audience engaged, and a genuine passion for supporting the professional & personal development of others.

You are a ‘people person’ and are able to rapidly develop relationships that build trust and a willingness to collaborate. You are pro-active, with excellent project management skills and excel at planning tasks and activities.

**Salary & Benefits**

Circa **£38,250** negotiable dependent on skills & experience.

**When we work - **our standard working hours are:8:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 15:45 Fridays (talk to us about flexible working if this doesn’t quite work for you)

**How we work -** our blended working approach means you’ll benefit from hybrid working, spending 2-3 days at our HQ in Thatcham, Berkshire and working from home, should you wish to do so.
