**Brief Description**

Accountancy trainee position based in Camberley. The role is to assist the director to deliver accountancy, tax and business advisory services.

**What will the apprentice be doing?**:

- Preparation of statutory accounts from client’s Xero accounting
software
- Reviewing and analysing client’s statutory accounts and confirming that they are in line with expectations
- Preparation of management accounts
- Assisting with preparation of reports and proposals for new clients
- Assisting with preparation of forecasts
- Preparation of VAT, P11D's and Tax Returns
- Bookkeeping - using Xero
- Carrying out Xero health checks on clients data
- Prepare a small number of director only Payrolls in Xero.
- Liaising with clients and related third parties on behalf of your
senior staff members
- Work with others to discuss issues and obtain assistance as
required
- Work independently to research potential clients and provide
feedback to more senior staff
- Supporting clients to deliver on their business and personal goals
- Support the director with admin and marketing tasks.
- Contribute ideas to create a more sustainable business.

Level 3 Assistant Accounts apprentice

To be completed at apprentices work place

GCSE or equivalent in English
