**Multi-skilled Gas & Plumbing Engineer**

**ROTHERHAM S63 (base)**

**Salary**: 28,000 - 38,000 (depends upon qualifications, skills and experience)

**About the role**:
We are looking for someone who has that 'can do attitude' with enthusiasm for the job. You will possess a sound knowledge of domestic property components and materials with an awareness of other building trades, and the skill set to deliver a range of multi-skilled activities whilst observing applicable building regulations and health & safety requirements.

As the Plumbing & Gas Engineer you will be involved in the installation, responsive maintenance and servicing of gas appliances, and therefore demonstrable experience of these activities is essential.

You will also have a flexible approach to work which may include working outside of normal business hours to provide emergency repairs to our customers.

You will be working in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations and our company's procedures.

You will also undertake other plumbing work, contributing to the effective delivery of plumbing repairs, refurbishment, and upgrades to a range of properties.

Carry out various multi trade tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company which may include, Plumbing, Carpentry and Painting & Decorating

**The individual**:

- You will hold an NVQ/City & Guilds certificate in plumbing or equivalent, coupled with strong basic joinery skills.
- You will hold an ACS Accredited Gas Certification - but ideally would be Gas Safe registered.
- You will have a full driving license.
- Having basic plastering skills would also be desirable.
- As you will be interacting with our internal and external customers within the workplace and whilst attending properties, you will naturally always utilise your excellent written and verbal communication skills to support your positive approach to delivering an effective customer service experience.
