About the role
The role of Leasehold Housing Officer in the council at Corby is varied and interesting and its prime purpose is to provide a first class front line service to the councils leaseholders living in our blocks of flats. This vacant role forms part of the Income Management Team.
Hours of Work: Mon 9.15-1.15 Tues 9.30-5.00 Wed OFF Thurs 9.15-1.15 Fri 9.15-1.15
Salary Range £22,300- £26,800 Pro Rata
What will you be doing?
The purpose of the Leasehold Housing Officer role at Corby is to offer all leaseholders a dedicated and comprehensive service including support, advice, assistance and account management. To do this you will be carrying out effective methods of recovery of arrears in line with the Councils Policies and Procedures, including taking payments, contacting customers, agreeing and negotiating affordable repayment plans, and monitoring accounts.
You will also produce annual and quarterly service charge bills.
Along with the other part time Leasehold Housing Officer you will manage a patch of approx. 300 leaseholders and respond to queries as they arise.
