**Exams Officer**

**Location**: Lancing/Burgess Hill

**Contract Type**: 25 hours per week, Permanent

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

**Salary**: £20,000 - £23,000

We are looking for an Exams Officer who can play a crucial role in the educational system, contributing to the fair and efficient conduct of examinations, which is essential for maintaining the integrity and credibility of the assessment process.
- Do you have previous Exam experience or previous Education experience? _

**The Role**
- **Venue Coordination**: Securing appropriate venues for exams, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements, and planning for special accommodations if needed.
- **Exam Materials**: Managing the distribution and collection of exam papers, as well as coordinating the procurement and secure storage of examination materials.
- **Compliance**: Ensuring that all examination processes adhere to the regulations and guidelines set by relevant examination boards or educational authorities.
- **Results and Certification**: Coordinating the distribution of exam results and certificates and providing support to students and teachers regarding any related queries.
- **Communication**: Keeping students, teachers, and parents informed about exam-related matters, including schedules, procedures, and any changes.

**Must have**:

- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
