**DESCRIPTION**

J&C Joel has an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their fast-paced sales team on a 12-18 month apprenticeship.

The apprentice will be given the required training and support to develop their skills in a
customer facing, fun environment within our UK Sales team.

J&C Joel has a long and successful history of developing and retaining apprentices across a wide range of roles, some of whom have grown into senior or manager.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To deliver a first-class service to customers
- To providing administrative support to the UK sales department
- Answering incoming calls into the UK Sales department and directing them accordingly.
- Accurately input new business delivery details into the Access system ensuring contact details and addresses for deliveries are correct.
- Accurately collect and record customer information (new business client account set ups) including customer interactions onto the CRM system
- To liaise with transport and production to confirm delivery / collection lead time for quality led returns.
- All sample request to be dealt with in a timely manner by processing the order on the access system
- To make outbound calls to clients following up on fabric only pending quotations under £1,000.00 (Ad hoc)
- To make outbound calls to follow up on samples orders.
- To make outbound calls to follow up on all Proforma’s within an hour of the sales team sending to the client.
- To use a payment portal to obtain payment and release of the order in question
- Keeping sales team updated with specific stock lines due into the business.
- To ensure all work is in line with company policies and objectives
- Effectively communicate with customers, managers and colleagues

36.25 hours a week

**WORKING DAYS**

Days and shifts to be confirmed, full-time weekly hours.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**

4 or Above in math's and English

**FUTURE PROSPECTS**

To be discussed on completion Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £5.05 per hour
