One of the world's leading law firms requires an experienced Proposal Manager to take responsibility for developing and leading proposal and pitch strategy in order to maximise the success of the firm's proposals.

Working with the Global Proposals Manager, and the wider Client and Business Development teams in and across all of the firm's core practice areas and geographies, you will interact frequently with fee earners at all levels, including partners across theglobal network, and will play a key role in connecting pitch and proposal teams with relevant business professionals in Commercial Pricing, Best Delivery and Risk. The successful applicant will be expected to bring innovation and new ideas to proposals andmaintain momentum in winning new business and will provide a centre of excellence for the creation and delivery of responses to complex, multi-jurisdictional, high value matters and panel RFPs, leading by example and sharing best practice across teams, strengtheningthe prioritisation of must win pitches and further standardising the pitching processes. You will make recommendations, working flexibly on proposals across the firm's core practice areas, driving the development and production of relevant and bespoke pitchmaterials to be presented to clients and working with teams and systems to further enhance pitching for mandates of particular strategic importance to the firm. The role holder will act as the lead on select practice area pitches and panel opportunities ata strategic level, providing coaching to pitch teams preparing for client presentations and managing key stakeholders, whilst playing an active role in obtaining post-pitch feedback from clients, facilitating internal pitch debriefs and assisting in the developmentof first class proposals best practice and delivery to the practice area and regional team. The Proposal Manager will also develop infrastructure to drive efficiencies, working closely with offshore teams to do so, and work closely with the Global ProposalManager to equip colleagues with the tools, techniques and infrastructure required, ensuring value and efficiency in proposals development.
