Hales Recruitment are currently assisting with the recruitment of a Pre-hung Operative to join our client in Ely. As a Pre-hung Operative, you will assist in the overall production of door sets, glazed framing units, door frames assembly and packaging.
What will you be doing?
- Complete with all relevant production paperwork and work to instructions specifications
- Operating a variety of saws, an underpinner, all bench tools and power tools
- Carry out QC checks, ensuring products are being produced to specification and escalated any issues as they arise to management
- Adhering to company-outlined H&S procedures
- Carrying out housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
- Suggesting improvements to procedures, training and production performance to management.
Who are you?
- Proven experience working within a fast-paced production environment
- Full EU Driving licence for a minimum of 3 years (no disqualifications or more than 3 points on licence)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience in joinery
- Counterbalance licence would be beneficial
- IPAF 3a licence desirable but not essential
