**Field Care Supervisor Job Description**:
General Job Objectives and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all carers
- Provide appropriate supervision, training and support (including liaison as necessary with the

training service)
- To visit and carry out the proper assessment and review of Customer needs to produce the

appropriate care plan in line with contract requirements.
- To promote a professional image of the company in dealing with new care packages for Customers

and commissioning authorities.

Report all expenses in a accurate and timely manner to Lotus finance team to ensure all payments are reimbursed by 28th of each month.

Main Duties of Field Care Supervisor

These will include but are not limited to:
Completing spot checks, medication competency observations and supervisions for carers in the community using the PASS app - ensuring these are done at least every 3 months for all carers (or more frequently in response to any concerns raised).

Carrying out visits to customers' homes to carry out initial Customer Assessments and continuous
monitoring
- Risk Assessments Start-up, administration and review of new support packages
- Customer Reviews Support Worker supervision & support
- Support Worker training (including recommendations for specialist courses)

Support work: Fill-in & emergency cover
- Spot checks on support worker competency and on quality of care provision in partnership with the Branch manager.
- Report direct to Branch manager immediately of any incidents/accidents/ near misses/missed medication or missed calls
- Liaison with other agencies (eg Social Services) regarding service provision.
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the Branch Manager. The supervisor may also be asked

**Please note: the above is not an exhastive list and can vary from time to time in response to changes to the business needs. Therefore there is an expectation of a degree of flexibility in the role, as instructed by your line manager. You can be asked to work at any of our branches, sometimes at short notice, and to support in any capacity required at the time.**

**Please also note this is NOT an office based position, hence the name FIELD care supervisor, and the expectation is that you will visit your branch office at the start of the week to replenish any paperwork or PPE then be out in the community checking on carers, completing spot checks/meds comps/supervisions, conducting risk assessments on PASS, updating care plans on PASS, providing carers PPE and any other things they may need to safely do their job, completing Home Visits to clients to undertake environment risk assessments and any other duty at the instruction of your line manager.**
