**Job Advert - Training Coordinator**

We’re recruiting a Training Co-ordinator to join our team. Based at the Head Office in Aston, you will join a fast pace, well organised working environment. It is important that you have prior experience within the construction sector as you will need to hit the ground running. The role will lead the company training activity and supporting the HR, health & safety, and related functions.

**To be considered for the role you must have**:

- practical experience working within a training environment
- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate directly with workers and training providers
- the ability to work autonomously and interact with multiple departments/individuals

**Key responsibilities include**:

- sourcing training & NVQ providers
- organising training, NVQs, touchscreen tests, and other professional development for the workforce
- processing and approving training requests
- maintaining records and other spreadsheets
- liaising with third parties and processing CITB grant claims
- tracking and reporting on progress
- fulfilling minimum training key performance indicators
- leading training review meetings
- supporting new worker inductions
- assisting the coordination of company vehicle drivers
- assisting other office priorities arising.

**Job type**: Full-time, Contract

**Working hours**: 42.5 hours per week

**Skills & Experience**:
Essential
- Proven track record in a similar role
- Awareness of construction themes (e.g. CSCS. etc)
- Organising and sorting data
- Excellent attention to detail
- Telephone skills
- Resilience when working to fixed deadlines

Desirable
- Awareness of health & safety
- Problem solving
- Competent Excel user to Pivot table/v-Look up level
