**The Opportunity**:
OpenText is seeking an experienced Director, Channel Sales for our North Region (UK/I & Nordics) to join our growing Carbonite + Webroot channel sales team. This team is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets through pipeline generation, marketing activities, and management of strategic partners. Solution focus is Carbonite cloud backup & recovery (server and endpoint), DRaaS, high availability, migration solutions, and services in addition to Webroot cybersecurity offerings. The Carbonite + Webroot portfolio provides resilience for our customers in terms of data protection and security, in a world where businesses are seeing an increase in attacks and challenges. We call this Cyber Resilience. The goal of this team is to ensure our customers and our partners reach their data protection and sales goals, and key performance targets are met and exceeded. Channel Partners are critical to our growth strategy and our Channel Team is the foundation of their success.

As our Director, Channel Sales, you will be responsible for building a go-to-market business plan to grow, develop, and cultivate Carbonite + Webroot opportunities and target accounts within your territory. The Director will oversee a team of Sales who are responsible for generating revenue from new business opportunities and existing install base customers, within an assigned geographical territory. The sales team consists of 9 Channel Account Executives, and Inside Sales (BDR) with cross-functional team support for Sales Engineering, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, Channel Management, and Sales Operations.

You will also work with the marketing team to regularly drive demand generation campaigns in your region. You’ll need to build executive-level and strategic relationships within these accounts and jointly identify targeted customer accounts and new revenue opportunities with end-users and partners. This is a dynamic role representing both Carbonite and Webroot products on the front line and requiring strategic thinking, strong sales acumen, and a willingness to support the broader Sales teams in achieving and exceeding sales goals. This role requires self-motivation, high energy, and a results-oriented mindset. **What You Will Be Doing**:

- Build, oversee and help drive a team of regional field sales representatives that maximize sales revenues, attain corporate objectives, and exceed sales goals
- Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurately
- Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies
- Develop specific revenue plans for sales teams as needed to ensure growth in all products/services targeted by the organization.
- Provide coaching, advice, support, motivation, or information to help individuals meet and ideally exceed their defined sales objectives
- Serve as an escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve team conflicts as necessary
- Collaborate with Channel Partners as appropriate to improve the customer experience based upon the ability to generate channel leverage and end customer fulfillment preferences.

**What Experience And Skills We Need You To Have**:

- BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills, or equivalent experience
- Track record of experience exceeding quota in an individual contributor role
- Demonstrated success leading and managing sales teams and exceeding team quotas
- Strong sales, recruiting, leadership, organization, planning, and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of cyber security, endpoint, and/or backup protection
- Experience in bringing innovative / market-defining products to market
- Good interpersonal skills to align and foster positive working relationships across the organization (internal and external)
- Ability to develop and critically analyze a sales pipeline and forecast
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and flexible individual
- Ability to travel.
