Regional Sheq Advisor

HSE Recruitment have been engaged by a heavy engineering business based in Warwickshire to find them a new **Regional SHEQ Advisor.**
Reporting into a HSEQ Manager you will have the support there when you need it but also be offered the autonomy to improve your area and your sites, as you see fit. You will be encouraged to think outside the box, work with the teams and bring them on a journeyof continuous improvement.
This is quite a broad HSEQ role and key responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:

- You will be expected to travel to other UK Locations within the company and visit client sites they are working on. I would expect travel to be a few days a week and occasional overnight stays. You must ensure high standards of H&S are being followed.
- HSEQ inspections as per the auditing plan.
- Controlling and maintaining all SHEQ processes and procedures on site, offering pragmatic solutions when required.
- Providing advice, guidance and support to employees.
- Managing the ISO systems (9001, 14001 and 45001).
- Ensure training is up to date and manage the training matrix.
- Chair and support the HSE Committees on site.
- Accident and incident investigations.
- Creating method statements and RA’s.
Experience we are looking for:

- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
- Experience in a similar HSEQ role
- Experience with ISO systems - 9001, 14001 and/or 45001
- We are ideally looking for someone from a workshop, engineering or manufacturing type background but other high-risk industries will be considered
- Good communication skills
- We want someone who is autonomous and confident to push back and challenge behaviours but also someone who will work with people, be pragmatic in their approach and support the staff to make better decisions.
- Competent IT skills and good attention to detail as you will be reporting back on your area/sites.
Salary on offer is up to £40,000 + car /car allowance and additional package.
