As our **Project Manager**, we will reward you and your hard work with: - Private healthcare for you and your family - Company pension scheme - Wide range of flexible benefits, such as gym membership, technology, or health assessments - Access to an online wellbeing centre - Range of discounts from many businesses - 25 days holiday which increases with service and options to buy or sell more - Electric Vehicle/Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (EV/PHEV) scheme **As our Project Manager,**you will primarily be leading our new Finance Projects and supporting and enabling delivery in collaboration with functional teams, senior management and other stakeholders. **Your responsibilities as our Project Manager will include**: - Leading the scoping, setting up, planning and execution of projects to time, budget and desired outcomes in the UK - Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Project Portfolio Management Office according to defined standards - Proactively & dynamically managing the individual project plans, calling out dependencies, resources and other risks and suggesting mitigation as required - Managing project ROI and budget in conjunction with the finance team and assigned project accountant according to defined standards - Defining the project communication plan and chairing project team meetings for planning and cascade of work packages for streams - Projecting post implementation reviews against forecast delivery benefits and are a key element of our project delivery approach and it is the prime responsibility of the project manager to ensure these steps are not overlooked or not delivered. - Working within the BFS Project lifecycle framework. - Defining, developing and embedding our project and programme management processes and standards to reflect best practice - Supporting your project team with best practice guidance and providing your stakeholders with their personal development plans and performance objectives in line with project targets - Supporting strategic objectives for the team that are aligned with the company’s strategic initiatives **What we are looking for in our ideal Project Manager**: - Minimum 3-5 years of direct knowledge and experience of project management delivery methodologies (Examples of which would be: Prince2, MSP, Agile, APM, ITL), tools and techniques (i.e. MS Project), with specific focus on project planning, and change management,within a large and sometimes complex programme/project environment. - Hands-on delivery experience as project manager on IT projects where proven record around vendor management, contract negotiations and migration activities - Having led in therecent past at least a project with >£500k, a multi stream project with at least >15 assigned project resources - Expertise in transformation governance frameworks, project tools and techniques, track record of taking responsibility for high quality and on-time project deliveries - Track record of driving to timelines, strong planning, communications, and stakeholder management skills - Excellent interpersonal skills, including consultative/mentoring skills - The ability to build strong collaborative relationships There’s no place quite like BFS and we’re proud of that.
