About the team**

Our Payments team are responsible for the payment and settlement of Customer and consumer payments in numerous currencies from many Global bank accounts.

Using various payment methods, the team will prepare, check, monitor and release payments in numerous currencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the workflow of the team using Salesforce, ensuring we adhere to cut offs and deadlines across multiple currencies and entities.
- Attend meetings relevant to the team.
- Deputise in the absence of the Payments Manager.
- Assist with project impact assessments and requirements.
- Provide training and coaching to the team.
- Prepare, check and release customer and consumer payments in numerous currencies using various payment methods.
- Develop specialist knowledge to provide accurate advice and information to both internal and external sources in a timely and professional manner, taking full ownership of any queries through to resolution.
- Work as part of the team to ensure daily objectives are met.
- Continually look for ways of improving processes, providing potential solutions and following through to implementation to deliver efficiencies.

- Ability to develop strong relationships across the business
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Experience of payments and using banking systems
- A passion for attention to detail and getting it right first time
- Able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to look beyond the numbers to identify issues, anomalies and understand root cause
- Adaptable to changing priorities and requests
