**Company Description**

Culina Logistics is the leading 3rd party UK logistics business specialising in chilled warehousing providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufacturers.

Offering defined career path opportunities to enhance and develop your skills and experience, we are recruiting for a Transport Planner to work in our chilled warehouse operation at our Market Drayton depot on a full time, permanent contract.

Shifts: 5 on 3 off / 4 on 4 off rotation - 07:30 - 18:00hrs

**Salary**: £31,824 per annum

The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Work with Transport & Warehouse teams, the main purpose of the role is to effectively assemble loads/ deliveries and resource the correct transport requirements
- Efficiently utilise the Culina networks fleet
- Central planning of all Culina Chill sites, including ambient intervention
- Assembling of 400 + multi drop/ consolidated loads in every 24 hour period
- Planning approximately 200 + collections to clients agreed KPI
- Resource correct transport requirements for each site, keeping sub-contract to a minimum
- Exceeding agreed KPIs
- Daily liaison with personnel across different levels (Shift Managers, Transport Coordinators, Customer Service & Client Support Colleagues)
- Proactively look for conscientious improvements
- Deal with day to day operational issues
- Dealing with client requests
- Other duties as reasonably required

**Qualifications**
- Good geographical knowledge
- Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- CPC desirable but not essential
