Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing, forward thinking support business who are based on the outskirts of Leeds City Centre. As the Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for workingclosely with the Financial Controller and will be given exposure to the month end process. The position will encompass both the management and financial accounts and will also support some areas of transactional finance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has previous experience of accruals, prepayments and journals and is now looking to take that next step in their career.

Key responsibilities for the successful Assistant Management Accountant will include:

- Month-end duties including intercompany recharges, fixed assets, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts and the quarterly forecast/annual budget processes
- Ensuring that all financial controls are in place and making sure all accounts are audit proof
- Working closely with the transactional finance team and supporting them within purchase ledger and credit control when needed
- Any other ad hoc tasks/projects as required by the Financial Controller and wider Finance Team

To be successful in the Assistant Management Accountant role you will ideally:

- Be ambitious, be keen to progress and will have a want to learn and develop within finance
- Want to do further study or will be keen to learn new skills and systems
- Have experience within a similar role and will be comfortable in a busy, fast paced role
- Have an understanding and interest in a career in finance

This role is based on the outskirts of Leeds City Centre and is easily commutable from all areas of Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and further afield due to hybrid working. It is easily accessible via public transport.
