You will support both transactional tasks and management accounting. Key Responsibilities Month-End & Reporting Assist with preparation of management accounts for multiple group entities Deliver month-end tasks and associated reporting Produce sales journals Complete bank and payment reconciliations Prepare payment runs and process purchase invoices Reconcile supplier statements Manage the shared finance inbox Support development of cost centre and headcount reporting Provide insightful financial analysis to the Management Accountant Challenge & Control Support monitoring of business performance vs. budget & forecast Help embed strong financial controls across finance and operations Contribute to improved financial reporting and analysis Appropriately challenge expenditure and support better financial controls What We’re Looking For Essential Skills Experience supporting the production of month-end accounts Strong Excel skills Experience with Xero or similar accounting software Ability to analyse financial/operational data and present it clearly Experience with budgeting models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) a bonus Personal Attributes Inquisitive, analytical and eager to learn Excellent communicator, able to explain finance to non-finance colleagues Proactive, responsible and detail-oriented Able to work independently and use good judgment Studying towards (or looking to start) AAT, ACCA, or CIMA - with full study support provided Success in This Role Looks Like Accurate and timely delivery of month-end within a five-day reporting window High-quality analysis, commentary and financial insight Strong working relationships with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager Positive impact on finance team performance and culture Ready to Grow With Us?
