**Systems Support Officer (Reporting)**
We have an exciting opportunity to join Cornwall Council in a position that provides support to the Care and Wellbeing Directorate (formerly Adults Social Care) and the Together for Families Directorate.
This role will report to the Senior Systems Support Officer and the Technical Solutions Manager who has overall responsibility for all aspects of data and technical support including the development of data solutions primarily using SQL and PowerBI.
The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of data and reporting solutions across the Care and Wellbeing and Together for Families Directorates in order to deliver performance management frameworks and statutory returns. This will primarily involve using PowerBI and SQL. There is a requirement to work with business leads to support the scoping of reporting requirements.
We are seeking an individual with:
- A degree or higher diploma level qualification with technological or analytical content or extensive equivalent experience.
- Expertise in the use of PowerBI and SQL.
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects while under pressure to meet deadlines.
- The ability to use own initiative; a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail who is organised and methodical in their approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
The position will have an office base of New County Hall in Truro, Chy Trevail in Bodmin or Dolcoath in Camborne. However, working from home is actively supported and could be accommodated on a part-time or full-time basis.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
