Business Systems Support Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Business Systems Support Assistant (Support) within the Business Systems Support Team.
The Business Systems Support Team supports approximately 2,500 system users in the Care and Wellbeing and Together for Families Directorates.
The systems in use are Mosaic (Social Work and Early Help/Support); Core+ (Youth Offending) and Synergy (Education). In addition, the team also supports the Isles of Scilly with their social care case management system Azeus.
The team consists of a group of motivated individuals who work together in a supportive manner to:
- support system users
- train system users
- update systems to meet business requirements
We will provide system training required for the role as well as support successful applicants with learning best practice associated with undertaking 1-1 training. In addition, we proactively encourage staff to attend available training to enhance their overall skill-set, promoting career progression where this is desired.
We are seeking an individual who:
- Demonstrates experience in the use of systems/software
- Demonstrates experience in providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and desire to learn/ability to deliver formal training
- Demonstrates careful attention to detail and accuracy in relation to problem resolution and data entry
- Educated to A level or demonstrates equivalent qualification/experience
- Minimum of 2 years administrative or IT support experience or equivalent
- High standard of literacy and numeracy; problem solving and consulting ability; ability to use initiative; flexible approach; an enthusiasm for IT systems/software
The Business Systems Support Team members primarily work from home but there is the option to work from any one of the main office bases in Camborne, Truro or Bodmin if this is preferred. Staff who work from home are provided with all necessary equipment.
