Edspace is a forward-thinking construction company specialising in innovative modular building solutions. We work primarily in the education sector, delivering high-quality _Edpod_ structures, our unique modular timber framed classrooms and learning spaces to schools across the North West. We're looking for a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our growing team in the Wirral area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install pad foundation blocks to support _Edpod_ modular timber-framed buildings
- Carry out ground preparation and excavation using plant and hand tools
- Install and connect drainage systems according to site specifications
- Operate excavation plant machinery safely and competently
- Support the wider team in the installation of _Edpod_ structures in school environments
- Ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and in line with the relevant building regulations.
- Maintain clear and safe site conditions, particularly within sensitive school environments

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in groundworks, particularly in foundation and drainage installation
- Familiarity with working on modular or timber-framed buildings preferred
- Experience operating excavation machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers and laser levels)
- Valid CSCS card required
- CPCS or NPORS qualification desirable
- Strong understanding of site safety and safeguarding in school settings
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

**How to Apply**:
Pay: From £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

- Groundworks: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driving License (required)
