**About the Print Specialist role**:
You will efficiently support the end-to-end delivery of Print & Promotion projects, from creating the offer, to processing customer requirements and processing orders and aftersales queries. You will effectively manage relationships with customers and localAccount Managers and sales colleagues, consistently providing excellent service and assisting in achieving the departmental goals for UK & Ireland. You will also provide effective support to help to grow sales, improve profit and develop product/solution optimisation.

**Your responsibilities as our Print Specialist will include**:

- Creating Print & Promotion offers, confirming requirements and budget of the customer
- Assisting customers with product information, selection and purchase
- Contacting different vendors to offer the best solution to customers and/or searching for an alternative assortment when the exact assortment requested is not available
- Ensuring and coordinating process of item set up until delivery of Print & Promotion items (also ensuring invoice is sent)
- Advising colleagues how to follow up on customer requests
- Working closely together with the Sales Account Managers, and the drop shipping team, Warehouse and Supplier to optimise assortment, and Product Marketing for campaigns etc
- For CI items stocked in the warehouse, forecasting sales, liaising closely with customers and efficiently managing stock levels
- Advising colleagues and management (pro-actively and on request) on data and insight analysis, data sources, commercial opportunities, market development and possibly insights on related delivery products and services
- Contributing to the signaling of process improvement potential, as well as contributing to the development, optimisation, and modification of department administrative systems and procedures
- Recording and processing orders and/or enquiries received via all touchpoints and ensuring a correct understanding of the reason for the contact
- Providing efficient and effective service to customers, ensuring all internal targets are monitored and met and that the question of the customer is answered or expectations managed
- Undertaking handling of customer complaints in relation to a Viking Print & Promotion project
- Maximising opportunities to strengthen client relationships, particularly by developing large/major client portfolios according to agreed strategy
- Handling all administrative duties related to the role such as filing, documenting and dispatching relevant documents
- Developing, performing research and maintaining a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the Print and Promotion worlds and maintaining extensive understanding of all products, services, systems and processes in order to deal with a varietyof questions
- Striving to continually improve the Viking Print & Promotion department’s sales and profit
- Constantly monitoring customer feedback to ensure corrective action taken to improve customer satisfaction

**What we’re looking for in our Print Specialist**:

- An independent, entrepreneurial “can do” approach to work; a self-starter with the ability to “hit the ground running”
- Vocational level of thinking with 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in process management
- A customer focus with planning and presentation skills
- A commercial individual, with a strong customer focus and customer awareness
- An effective communicator, both in writing and verbally
- A good listener who is results driven
- The ability to effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture
- Competency in Excel with high level of numeracy
- A background in B2B retail
