**The Company**:
Our client is an independent, friendly company who aim to provide high quality products and service to all their customers. They have chosen their product ranges and suppliers carefully to ensure that the products they supply meet their customers quality requirements. It’s a small and friendly team and they are based in Bristol (BS5) with car parking.
**The Job**:
On behalf of this company we are looking for an **Accounts Assistant** to join them on a **full time** and **permanent** role in their **Bristol**office. They use accounts on both Sage 50c Professional and XERO.
You will report directly to the Financial Controller who works in the office on a part time basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bank reconciliations on Sage 50c Accounts & XERO
- VAT Return check and submission (assisting the FC)
- Monthly management reporting (assisting the FC)
- Raising purchase orders on Sage
- Understanding their stock management system (G-Smart Link50) and completing stock takes with the warehouse manager (via the system, not physically).
- Proforma invoice creation on Excel for potential sale of electronics (high value / volume)
- Sales and purchase invoice processing (on their back-office system which is Prima Software)
- Capturing online customer payments and allocating associated sales orders on Sage
- Accepting card payments over the phone and processing online
- As this is a small team there will be other administrative tasks such as support to the MD and answering the telephone when needed

£26 -30,000 + Opportunity for study support
