HSS Hire is the UK’s leading tools and equipment hire company and we are looking to strengthen our Credit Control Management Function, within our Financial Shared Services Centre by recruiting a **Credit Control Manager.**

**What will you do?**

You will take the lead on:

- Achieving credit control targets in line with the company business plan
- Managing a team of credit controllers and regularly monitoring accounts and conducting ledger reviews
- Ensuring credit control disciplines are maintained and adhered to regarding credit limits and procedures
- Resolving issues preventing customer payment
- Developing effective and collaborative relationships with the Sales and Operations teams and wider business to deliver a “stand out service” to our customers and minimise the amount of overdue debt as well as being one of our Credit managers in the FinanceShared Service Centre Management team

**What do you bring?**

You will have:

- Experience in managing and developing a team of credit controllers
- A proven track record of collecting cash and managing credit risk in an environment that has a high volume of customers, complex transactions, ambiguity and multiple systems
- Experience of working in a fast-paced team to meet deadlines along with competing demands and priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
