**What we do.**

This particular role is at our Bakkavor Desserts site based in Devizes, Wiltshire and specialises in making delicious chilled desserts such as tarts, yum yums, doughnuts, crumbles, pies & pastries. The site employs over 580 people and is close to Swindon.

**About the role.**

We manufacture a wide range of high-quality chilled products for our dedicated customers at our Bakkavor sites. Our production lines are non-stop, so you’ll be kept busy creating our products. Working right at the heart of our fast-paced, high-pressured environment, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, be encouraged to find where your strengths lie and supported to achieve your full potential.

Goods In Administrator duties include:

- Assist the Departmental Manager/ Section leader in maintaining applicable business management systems such as Protean, Stevens and data capture.
- Control all bookings into Stevens / Protean system.
- Provide all goods in paperwork to Technical where required and to upload any paperwork required to folders on S drive.
- Maintain daily KPI measures, related to performance management, that have been developed by the Logistics Manager.
- Assist in the adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and customer codes of practice within your department, training staff in conjunction with the Technical department.
- Provide supplier KPIs to Logistics Manager, Materials team and Purchasing team.
- Support the business by maintaining high standards throughout.
- Support the Logistics Manager with customer visits within your department.
- Ensure your department is meeting the requirements of the annual H&S plan. Assist in the delivery of the H&S KPI’s.
- Upkeep of all required paperwork (stock taking, temperature checks, loading paperwork, delivery paperwork etc.).
- Monitor continual replenishment & correct rotation of stock.
- Control of stock through Bakkavor stock control system.
- Adherence to internal hygiene/safety standards.
- Carry out stock counts on all materials independently and trend the accuracy of the count.
- To cover Section leader when not on site, taking full control on warehouse.
- To be proactive and oversee the complete goods in process as per the Bakkavor goods in Charter and processes.

**About you.**
- Relevant Logistics/Stores/Despatch administration experience, which has ideally been within the food-manufacturing or warehousing environment (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills and experience with documentation and administration.
