**About the role**:
Sense is recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities team. This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week at our office in Selly Oak, Birmingham
In this role the successful applicant will assist the Facilities Manager with the efficient running and maintenance of TouchBase Pears. You will act as the point of contact for people who use the service including employees, tenants, suppliers, contractors and general public
**This role will include**:
- Opening and closing the building in line with safe working procedures on a rota basis, ensuring building safety and security at all times.
- Ensuring Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, identifying, reporting and removing any risks. Completing all paperwork within the agreed timescales.
- Carrying out maintenance checks and ensuring records and reporting systems are completed.
- Liaising with contractors to oversee any works necessary are completed to a high standard in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain regular contact with client and building occupants (tenants and staff) by developing effective relationships including response to enquiries and complaints.
- Delivering conference and events to a high-quality service including room set up, regular equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Overseeing the smooth running and staffing of reception at all times, ensuring customer service standards are maintained to a high standard.
- Assist with reception duties when required to ensure the smooth running of the building, delivering first class customer service both internally to Sense stakeholders and externally to the community and public.
**Key skills and experience**:
- Proven experience of providing and maintaining high quality administrative procedures.
- Experience of providing excellent customer service as part of a front facing team.
- Experience of being ‘the responsible person’ for buildings, services and community activities.
- Desirable experience of event coordination/administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to organise and prioritise own work and be responsible and accountable for quality and accuracy of own work.
