This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is interested in sustainability and green technology and who is looking to implement their experience in a challenging, fast paced and growing business to support the delivery of Beattie Passive projects.
**Main Tasks and Accountabilities**
The role will be, but not limited to:
1. Research, select and purchase quality products and materials required by the business
2. Build relationships with existing suppliers / subcontractors and negotiate with them for the best terms and prices
3. Develop new relationships expanding the current supply chain
4. Process requisitions and update management on status of orders
5. Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels
6. Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely deliveries to various sites
7. Manage stock room, stock levels & report discrepancies to management
8. Undertake procurement processes and documentation in line with BOPAS and ISO quality management system
- Previous buyer experience in construction field including on site procurement
- Previous experience/knowledge with construction materials
**Salary**: Up to £32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
