This is your chance to combine deep procurement expertise with strong relationship-building skills to deliver exceptional results.Your RoleAs a Strategic Buyer, you will:Forge strong, customer-focused relationships by providing high-quality technical advice and innovative procurement solutions.Develop bespoke commercial proposals and manage consultancy engagements from start to finish.Play a pivotal role in positioning our client as the procurement partner of choice for valued social housing clients.Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to ensure consistent delivery of high-value services.Take ownership of your projects, including P&L responsibility, ensuring outstanding outcomes for clients and the business.About YouYou are:A tenacious and driven procurement expert with a proven track record of success.A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.Analytical, organised, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients, stakeholders, and projects effectively.Experienced in procurement, with substantial knowledge of PA2023 Procurement regulations, contract management, and high-stakes negotiations.Qualified to CIPS Level 4 or holding a relevant degree (or equivalent sector experience).What You BringA passion for achieving excellent social and commercial outcomes.Expertise in relationship and stakeholder management.Strong presentation and project management skills.A valid driving license for regular UK travel.Why Join Our Client?They offer a supportive environment where your skills and contributions are valued.
