As a result of continued expansion and continued on-going success we are seeking a dynamic Buyer to manage their Plant Category.

This is a very exciting and unique opportunity for a Buyer to join the buying department of this expanding, dynamic retailer.

As a Buyer, you will be expected to source new products and categories, source new suppliers and develop relationships with them, build successful ranges, negotiate competitive prices, and generally drive your category forward.
- We are ideally looking for a confident Buyer with a background ideally covering plant categories but will also consider FMCG, Homewares, DIY or associated product range.
- This role needs a confident, self motivated person who is able to think creatively and commercially in order to grow and develop the category.
- Applicants must have strong communication skills with a good negotiation technique and a keen eye for new products and opportunities.
- You must be highly analytical, results driven and display plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
- An experience of overseas buying is also an advantage.

The role is a hybrid position with occasional travel to head office and can therefore be based anywhere in the UK but you must be comfortable to travel when required.
