Trade Counter Sales

We are an independent plumbers merchant who are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our St Erth team.

We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, is professional and has the energy and enthusiasm to help make us more successful We are keen to speak to anyone who wants to be part of our hard-working, family friendly team.

Branch Assistant responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Serving on the Trade Counter and answering incoming enquiries
- Processing quotes
- Maintenance of the branch, including stock rotation, general housekeeping
- Checking of incoming goods
- Accurate picking of orders for delivery
- Carrying out deliveries in the local area
- Assisting with general branch duties

Attributes required for the Branch Assistant:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Great communication skills
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- Enthusiastic team player and ability to make a positive contribution
- Have an ambitious outlook and willingness to learn

Previous experience of working in a Plumbers Merchant with a knowledge of plumbing and heating is essential.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence.

**Working Hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm**

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Plumbers merchant Retail sales: 1 year (required)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
